Leigh Goldie, the Founder and Executive Director of Empowering Epilepsy is not a medical doctor and has not been trained in neurology. She relies solely on her personal experiences of living with epilepsy. She has a Master of Education Degree from John Carroll University.

Was founded by people with epilepsy, for people with epilepsy. Our goal is to provide free or low cost programs and services to show people with epilepsy and their loved ones what they can do while living with seizures.
